Custom straps and webbing
The strap that finishes your product, sewn to spec.
Most straps are one small part of something bigger: the pull on a trailer door, the strap on a cargo container, the harness on a pack. Midwest Textile makes that part, in any length, width, color and hardware, sewn to your drawing in Green Bay, Wisconsin and shipped ready to go onto your product.
Custom webbing straps
Straps for doors, cargo, packs and equipment.
You build the container, the cover, the case or the machine. We build the strap that goes on it, at the length, width, hole spacing and color your design calls for, then ship it to your line for final assembly.

OEM strap manufacturer
Any length, any width, any hardware.
Most of our strap work is a component of another company's product. We cut, sew and fit hardware to your drawing in one facility, so every strap in the run matches the sample you approved.
Cargo container straps color coded by carrier, so every handler knows whose unit is whose at a glance, are a typical job.
The floor
Manufacturing in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
You work directly with the people designing, sewing and shipping your product. No agency in the middle, and no overseas shipping cycle sitting between a change request and a corrected sample.
That is why a first article turns around in a few weeks, and why a design question gets answered by the person who will actually sew it.

Custom Strap Questions, Answered
The questions OEMs and product manufacturers ask us most often before a first article. If yours is not here, ask it directly.
Do you make straps for other manufacturers?
Yes. Most of our strap work is a component of another company's product: the pull on a trailer door, the strap on a cargo container, the harness on a pack. We sew to your drawing and ship to your line, and you assemble the strap into your finished product.
What webbing do you use for custom straps?
Nylon, polyester and polypropylene. Nylon is strong with some stretch, polyester holds its length and resists UV, and polypropylene is light and low cost. We choose by load, environment and how the strap is handled, in stock and custom colors.
Can you add hardware, holes and hook and loop?
Yes: buckles, slides, D-rings, hooks, snaps, grommets, rivets, punched holes at your spacing, and hook and loop sewn to the webbing. Every load point gets bar-tack or box-X stitching.
Do you make Berry compliant straps?
Yes, with Berry compliant webbing and hardware. Tell us at the quote stage, because it determines how materials are sourced. More on our military contract sewing work.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom straps?
We run from pilot quantities of around 100 units through to orders of 100,000 and above, with a first article checked against your spec before the full run.
Where are the straps manufactured?
In our own facility in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You work directly with the people cutting, sewing and shipping your straps, so a change request is answered in days rather than across an overseas shipping cycle.
Start a project
Send us the drawing, or the strap you use today, and we will quote it.
A drawing, a spec sheet or a physical strap is enough to start. Tell us the length, width, hardware and quantity, and what the strap goes onto.
Quotes answered inside 48 hours. Pilot runs start around 100 units, with a first article before any full run.
